The ZF AS Tronic gearbox is an automated manual gearbox. This means that a power pack (AS Tronic) takes over shifting for the driver. Intelligent electronics select the optimum gear depending on the driving situation. Due to the optimum switching behaviour of the AS Tronic Powerpack, the motor always operates in the most efficient speed range and thus saves energy/fuel. The AS Tronic Lite can be used in light to medium-heavy vehicles. We provide the AS Tronic Lite transmission actuator for MAN, Renault, DAF, Iveco, and Volvo.
